The Tikal Ruins

Tikal is perhaps the most impressive archaeological site I have ever visited. Located in the state of Peten, this site is the middle of a jungle and there is all sorts of wildlife lurking nearby. Many of the artifacts have been very well preserved and as I walked in and out of the ancient sites, I felt as if I had been transported in time.
