The Tikal Ruin

In the South of Mexico and into Central America I spent many hours exploring the ruins of the Mayan civilization. It was the Aztecs, however, that ruled the farther to the North and near Mexico City there stands an incredible archaeological site which displays the greatness of the ancient Aztec Empire. Teotihuacan contains the second largest pyramids in the world. Standing on top of the Pyramid of the Sun is an experience I will never forget.
