I remember flying into Mexico City when I was 19 and being overhwhelmed by its size and congestion. Two years later I would spend a few days in Mexico City with some friends that I had met in Chiapas. They were extremely hospitable to me, opening their house to me and taking me around the city and showing me the sites.
